mental ward #12 / patient file no. 357: "Kurt Dolto"
Born of a chance meeting with destiny, on a threadbare freudian divan with mattress springs protruding, the dream entity of graphic designer & musician Mathias Schweizer, alter ego Kurt Dolto must be considered innocent of all crimes held against him. Twisted visions of neon pink marshmallow clouds and exploding ambulances come bubbling forth after 20 years of seclusion, locked deep away in the basement of a Swiss chalet with his only friend the Electribe ESX-1 sampler/sequencer...
One can understand and even forgive his penchant for certain tastes considered "regressive" in the eyes of the Intelligent Dance Music afficionados (some scoff skeptically, while all others just simply dance). His compositions are filled with bleeps, glitches, and ravey synth sounds, stumbling and rumbling to the beat of a drunken drummer... Acidic frequencies and video-game melodies stutter and climb in frenetic acceleration while the crowd breaks and pogos themselves into a euphoric riot. If you have never witnessed the energy and mayhem, it is impossible to grasp the complexity of this seemingly simple and harmless patient.
*previous indicators of his hyperactive behavior: "Floop Floop" as featured on the Rolax Records compilation ROLAX SNAX 1: utterly agitated and deeply infectious.
